Imaginary Runways..

Hey hey hey 🙂

Hope you guys are doing well. I’m also hoping that your Valentine’s day was full of love… but for those who s`pent their day in the house, at school or bought themselves chocolate , I gats you covered 🙂20170209_194731

Well , Valentines is a day where you celebrate love and all that , the kind of love I celebrated this year was that of a friendship that started all the way in 2005 if I’m not wrong , or maybe 2004 .. okay ..just a very long time ago.20170209_195253-1

Cue in Ivy  ( I like calling her Ivoo). Back then when we were in  class 2 , on one fateful afternoon .20170209_194847

Now like the normal best friends we were , after lunch together and headed out to play together . The playground was full of class 1 to class 3 pupils and the teacher in charge would occasionally walk round just to make sure no one was strangling the other.20170209_194823

I’m not sure who came up with the very ‘intelligent’ idea that we should catwalk ( this was most probs Ivy’s decision , but if you ask her she’ll say it was my ‘brilliant’ idea)  So we tied our sweaters on our waists and became top models , the most successful and beautiful models in the world.20170209_194332

Lights were flashing , fans were screaming our names and we had the highest of stilettos on . This was it , we were not fellow models but competing to see who had the longest stride , the most graceful walk and the widest smile. I’m not sure how long this went on for .20170209_195629

Then all of a sudden there was a star struck fan who came on stage and started to model with us , now this fan wasn’t dressed anything  close to a model  , she had flats on and was extremely short . On looking at her face clearly , it was the teacher on duty and guess what ? She had joined us and was cat walking 20170209_195353

Ivy and I were too shy to continue with our game so we just smiled and came back to the reality being shy class twos,, but one thing remains , not that i’ll never forget that day ( of course i wont ) but that i was a model for an afternoon 🙂

For this look we went for Ankara because ankara is a very timeless piece. Ivy went for a sophisticated dungaree skirt which was just perfect . I went for a more minimalist look by throwing on the cape blazer. We both tried to make it simple yet oh so sophisticated ! 🙂

  1. Woow, this so awesome, the camera guy is gifted… knows what, how and when to capture, am so passionate about ankara, and yes! Its a timeless piece, i love the outfits the models. Really cool.
